The pre-World Environment Day program was held on the school stage, with Manager Fr. Lawrence Benedict and Principal Sr. Mary Lavania as chief guests. The event began with a green flag-holding rally, inaugurated by Fr. Lawrence and led by Class 9 students along with their teachers. The rally's mission was to promote a "Go Green, Eco-Friendly, and Plastic-Free Zone" initiative.
The program featured authentic rituals performed by the Manager and Principal, followed by a captivating performance by pre-primary and primary teachers highlighting the importance of a green and clean environment.
Concluding the program, Fr. Lawrence delivered a heartfelt message, urging students to pledge towards making Little Flower Convent a plastic-free zone. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to achieve this goal, not just in the school but also in the society and city.
